Voces 8

Young and Great Britain

They met when choirboys (and girls!) at Westminster Abbey. In 2003 they formed an octet and set about perfecting their vocal technique. Two years later they won their first international competition and set off on a glittering career, via the Royal Festival Hall and Covent Garden. Giving concerts and master classes, performing at festivals and recording albums, they travelled in Europe and America. On no account should you miss the opportunity to see these eight young singers, who cheerfully demonstrate their prodigious talents through a variety of styles and repertoires - from Gibbons to Gershwin, Bach to Nat King Cole and Kurt Weill – all with a wide British smile. Splendid, joyful youth!
